Nylon rod (PA)
Wear-resistant components: gears, bearings, pulleys (as substitutes for metals).
Industrial field: chemical equipment lining, conveyor guide rail.
Disadvantages: Poor dimensional stability after absorbing water, requiring modification treatment (such as PA66 + glass fiber reinforcement).
Polypropylene rod (PP)
Corrosion-resistant scenarios: lining of chemical storage tanks, acid and alkali pipelines.
Lightweight structure: food trays, medical containers (non-toxic).
Disadvantages: High brittleness at low temperatures, prone to aging (requires the addition of UV stabilizers).
POM rod (polyoxymethylene)
Precision parts: gears, cams, valves (high dimensional stability).
Electronic appliances: Insulated bearings, connectors.
Disadvantages: Not resistant to strong acids, and may release formaldehyde at high temperatures.
HDPE rod (high-density polyethylene)
Corrosion-resistant pipeline: chemical industry, sewage treatment system.
Food-grade applications: cutting boards, food processing equipment (FDA certified).
Disadvantages: Low strength, not suitable for high-load scenarios.
